Sarker Faroque is a PhD student at the Department of Sociology of the University of Essex, UK. His area of research is Eco-justice and Policing Environmental Crime: law enforcement challenges in Bangladesh, funded by the Prime Minister’s Fellowship (PM Fellowship) from the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Sarker Faroque is a member of Bangladesh Police and is now Superintendent of Police (SP).
