Dr. Angela Dwyer is an Associate Professor in Police Studies and Emergency Management in the School of Social Science at the University of Tasmania. Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in the School of Justice, Faculty of Law, at the Queensland University of Technology. Her current research interests are focused on how lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender young people experience policing in public spaces, and how gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people report crime to police liaison officers. She is lead editor of Queering Criminology with Dr Matthew Ball and Dr Thomas Crofts.
