Dr Jordan Anderson is a Lecturer in Criminology at Swansea University, and an Adjunct Research Fellow at Victoria University of Wellington. Jordan’s research explores risk, and how communities, the media, and public policy respond to those labelled as ‘risky’. Her recent research examined the release of high-risk sex offenders into communities in New Zealand as a context through which to examine the operation of the risk society. More generally, Jordan’s research interests include indeterminate sentencing, post-prison regulatory measures, comparative criminology, and punishment.
