Tamasailau Suaalii-Sauni is currently an associate professor in the criminology programme, The University of Auckland (UoA). In the programme she convenes an undergraduate course on Indigenous criminology, and a postgraduate course on contemporary criminological problems.

Tuivalu Lauganiu is a graduate of The University of Auckland (UoA) criminology programme. He currently works as a student development and engagement advisor for the Tuakana Arts programme and offers academic and pastoral support for Māori and Pacific tauira (students and staff) in the Faculty of Arts, UoA.
