Professor Avi Brisman - Book Review Editor, International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy

Professor Avi Brisman is the immediate past Editor-in-Chief of Critical Criminology: An International Journal.  Prior to this position, Professor Brisman served as the US Book Review Editor for Critical Criminology: An International Journal (2015-2019).  At present, he is Associate Editor of Crime Media Culture (having been a member of its International Advisory Editorial Board from 2014-2020) and, since 2015, has been a member of the International Editorial Board for International Journal for Crime, Justice and Social Democracy.  In addition to these positions, Professor Brisman has edited four special issues of peer-reviewed journals and eight books, including (with Professor Marília de Nardin Budó), the forthcoming volume, Introdução à criminologia verde: Perspectivas críticas, decoloniais e do Sul [Introduction to Green Criminology: Southern, decolonial and critical perspectives].
